A case will be filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act
Police have detained a man, Polok, with 50 yaba pills from Dhaka’s Hatirjheel area.
Polok is the son of Awami League Chairman Sheikh Mohammad Golam Rasul of Hatirjheel Ward 22.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatirjheel police station Abdur Rashid said: “Polok was detained near the Mukti Masjid in Rampura, with 50 yaba pills, around 11:30pm on Sunday.”
“A case will soon be filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act,” the OC added.
